How is it May already?!? Weren’t we just drinking eggnog?
May means summer is just around the corner and for many that means summer vacations. Yay!! Getting in a workout while on vacation is often a goal but not always a reality. For the next few weeks I will be posting vacation friendly workouts meaning zero equipment and super efficient and effective!
Start with the warm up. Then, complete 3 rounds of circuit A, rest 2-5 minutes, complete 3 rounds of circuit B, rest 2-5 minutes, then end the workout with 1 round of the finisher. Within each circuit move from one exercise to the next with minimal rest. Within each circuit the reps decrease with each round. See the reps column for each circuit. For each exercise choose a weight that is challenging but allows you to keep moving at a quick pace.
I know there’s a wide range of feelings about Valentine’s Day. Some people are all hearts and kisses and candy and flowers and others can’t stand the consumerism of it. But hey, it’s a day that serves as a reminder to really celebrate the people we love. Be a hater if you want but its a lot more fun to spend time with your favorite person or people while maybe sipping a little champagne or nibbling on chocolates.
It’s Christmas week! Only 6 days until Christmas! What are you most excited about? Presents? Family? Food?
Presents are pretty cool and all but I am mostly excited to see my family and eat. When I was younger, maybe elementary school, my Dad came up with the brilliant idea of having lobsters on Christmas Eve. It’s been a tradition ever since.
Do you think Sunday or Monday is the first day of the week? I always think of Monday as the first day of the week but if we decided to view Sunday as the first day of the week do you think we would like Mondays more? Think about it. The beginning of the week is a fun day off that usually starts with brunch. Boom. Monday doesn’t seem so bad. Just a thought.
