How is it May already?!? Weren’t we just drinking eggnog?

May means summer is just around the corner and for many that means summer vacations. Yay!! Getting in a workout while on vacation is often a goal but not always a reality. For the next few weeks I will be posting vacation friendly workouts meaning zero equipment and super efficient and effective!

Sweat Sesh: May Day Total Body, No Equipment Workout

This is a circuit workout with 4 rounds. Reps decrease by 5 (for May the 5th month of the year) with each round. The goal is to move through exercises 1-6 with minimal rest in between exercises. After each round, rest until you have recovered just enough to complete the next round.


3 rounds:


4 Rounds:

  • Round 1: 20 reps
  • Round 2: 15 reps
  • Round 3: 10 reps
  • Round 4: 5 reps


  1. In & Out Squat Jumps
  2. Single-Leg Hip Thrust Right
  3. Single-Leg Hip Thrust Left
  4. 180° Squat Jumps
  5. Push-up into Side Plank, Alternating
  6. Plank Step Outs, Alternating
