Tread-Plyo Cardio

Combining plyo exercises with an incline treadmill makes for a killer workout. If you are not looking to break your neck, perform the plyo exercises off the treadmill.

So hereโ€™s an example of how it goes. Walk on the treadmill for 3 minutes at 3.5 mph and a 10% incline. At 3 minutes jump off the treadmill and complete 15 jump squats. Rest off the treadmill for 30 second. Hop back on the treadmill and continue.

Warm-up: 5 min 3-3.5 mph @ 1% incline

3 min 3.5 mph @ 10% incline

15 jump squats

30 sec rest

3 min 3.5 mph @ 10% incline

15 jump squats with heel tap

30 sec rest

3 min 3.5 mph @ 10% incline

16 lunge jumps (8 each leg)

30 sec rest

3 min 3.5 mph @ 10% incline

16 ice skaters (8 each leg)

30 sec rest

Repeat the whole sequence once more.

Cool down: 5 min walk
